SLP Therapy & Me is a community-based service, meaning sessions take place in homes, schools, childcare centres, or other community settings where clients feel most comfortable. We also offer Telehealth sessions when appropriate.
Yes! We accept Plan-managed and Self-managed NDIS funding. Unfortunately, we do not accept NDIA-managed funding at this time. If you’re unsure about your funding type, we recommend checking with your plan manager or support coordinator.
No referral is needed for private or NDIS-funded clients! However, if you plan to use a Medicare rebate, a referral from your GP under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) is required.
Therapy sessions are typically 45 or 60 minutes, depending on what best suits the client. Initial assessments are usually 90 minutes to allow for a comprehensive evaluation.
